$10 ATT DSL offer!
I found a new promo for new ATT/Bellsouth DSL customers. If you click the Term Contract Plans under the featured plans a window shows the terms and conditions,it is for 756 kbs.I tried to order but it didn't show up.A rep is supposed to call me tomorrow to answer some questions

I already have ATT/Bellsouth DSL and have read that if you are already a subscriber you can't get the cheaper rate, it's for new customers only. BUT, it says current subscribers will get a free boost from the current 256 kbs to the new 756 kbs. I would think I would have to request this "free" upgrade. Can't imagine ATT doing it without prodding! Let me know what ya find out. Thanks! Jim

Lol!I just recieved a "free" modem from Bellsouth that I didn't order a few moments ago. My wife called several days ago to check on DSL.We decided not to do it because it was alot higher in price and slower than ATT.(Wait for a better deal)Bellsouth had 2 messages left on tha answering maching that they had processed my order and sent the modem I called them to explain, apparently the person I called had to "sign me up" just to check the availability and price AND forgot to delete the order. The guy offered the 3.0 for $17.95 for 6 months and $37.95 for the next 6 months,I turned it down.If they would have offered the 756 or 1.5 kbs I would have taken it.Wifes a poor college student. So tomorrow it's "Lets Make a Deal!"
Hope you get the bump Jim! |
