can anyone tell me if they've used or heard of using, whats called a "quick shifter" (corvair part #C3943A) to shorten the throw inbetween gears on my 63' 326, 3 speed manual trans. thanks

It won't work- the Corvair shifter pivot is mounted to the floor, whereas the Tempest shifter pivot is in the housing under the floor. The Corvair kit put a spacer under the shifter to raise the pivot relative to the lower end of the stick.
