HPP mag (Feb 08) - ZDDP articles
Here's a subject that we've killed a few times but I was pleasantly surprised with the Shell Rotella one. They state the the newer formulation still had 1200 which is still considered adequate for the flat tappet cams. I believe the older version had 1400.
Just curious who else found the info interesting. |

Does this mean all Rotella oils and weights? I've heard that there were 2 different classifications of the rotella that one was better for zddp. I should probably go pick up a copy for myself.

I have that article too, and Yes the Shell Rotella T.. The new Rotella T Has been formulated with flat tappet cams in mind.
Great article by Rocky.. I went to buy the 20 Liter Pale here at my local CDN Tire. I'm going to buy another Pale for storage. LOL |
