Default Power flow ventilation

Has anybody ever seen an A -body with this option. I would like to see some pics if anybody has some and try to find this option and put it in my 70 Lemans.
Thanks Donald

Yes, I have seen it on some 70-2 Skylarks...very rare and I think you will find it will be difficult to locate.

What pictures of the Power-Flo are you looking for? My Judge has that option.

My 70 GTO conv. has this option. All you see is the switch. Steve

On a non-ac car, you pulled on cables on the kick panel to open a valve in the cowl below the windshield to let fresh, outside air enter the car.

With a power ventilation system...there is a small motor that turns a squirrel cage to force air thru.....basically moves air around when you are at a light or barely moving along.

I don't have any pics, just a little info. The fans are not in the kick panels. They are located in the cowl, on the outer edges. The mounting nuts are visible under the hood, on top of the cowl.

Here is some more info from the Buick forum:

I found the option listed in my salesman's price book for 1969. It was option I2, Comfort Flow Ventilation, available for both A bodies, and full size Buicks, except no listing for Rivs. Kind of makes sense that GM would come up with it then, since they eliminated vent windows for all the full size cars that year. No listing for full size Buicks after 69, so it must have been unpopular. I see it listed in 1970 for full size and A body Pontiacs as Power Flow Ventilation, option code 588. The cost was the same, $42.13. It must have been unpopular with Pontiac buyers too, since it disapppears after 1970.
===============================================

As a previous post stated...you can see the hex nuts very close to the cowl trim tag.
Very rare and I have only seen one Buick Skylark with that option.....have to remember...$42.13 was quite a bit of money in 69-70.
