I have 18 of these made at the moment. They are a final inspection stamp that is stamped to pass side, head front. A MUST FOR ANY CORRECT RESTO & of course CONCOURS

they are OK-1 1-9 depending on inspector

WHO NEEDS THEM????????
$19 includes shipping in the USA.

SPECIAL THANKS TO MARK S. for loaning me his to reproduce from.......

the WW is an awsome 1 of 6 70 JUDGE converts
the YZ is TAXIMANS.........(watch out next year)
Mark i didnt have a good shot of yours....SORRY

colors to use are yellow, black or dark blue. You will get a random stamp if you dont specify a number.

Best to use high heat grill paint. spray into a sponge & dabb the stamp in the ink do some tests before you hit the final head.

Thanks a bunch guys........

Would like to be educated on the stamping too. What was the meaning of the stamp when done. Would be interested in the stamp if used in 68.

I'm curious about them too. What's the significance of the different numbers?
Incidentally, the only car I've ever seen in person with one of these stamps, and I mean an original factory stamp, was on an unmolested and unrestored '74 Super Duty Formula. Also, on that car, the letters were different than what you have here. They were "Ghost Letters"...If you know what i mean. Outlines, that is.

Possibly a poor or weathered of stamping if its ghost looking.

Basically all cars from 64-76 that i know of get them. they are the inspectors OK that the engine runs. the number is just the inspectors number so there is NO right or wrong number.
the engines pictured are TAXIMANS 69 JUDGE & the other is a 70 ram air iv judge convert. 1 of 6.
All the concours cars at a recent show had them & thanks to a member here is where i got my stamp to make them from.
This is that small detail that seperates the winners from just a show car.

Sweet, Ever hear of the Star-Belly Sneeches?

Or a more recent movie quote for you: ".....because when everyone's super, then no one is"

Once we all buy this stamp, there won't be any cars without them so then they'll be as common as having a windshield in the car!

The ghost image/outline is from the ink oozing out the side of the stamp when it hit the head... then the center paint was thinner and wore off over the years...
