Default Correct sheen for dash top & pad?

It was pointed out the dash pad & top painted finish was too flat on our 69 TA. What would be the correct percentage of flatness? Is the dash metal top between the winshield & dash pad the same sheen as the dash front?

The top of the dash should be suede textured 0 deg gloss.
The suede is an additive...

You RULE. Thanks for the quick reply!! We'll correct the front & leave the top as-is.

Suede?? I always wondered how that texture was achieved, learn something new everyday.

I reproduced the correct texture for the dash top by using cans of semi-gloss and spraying from two feet above (dry spraying??) and letting the mist settle on the dash a little at a time letting it dry for a few minutes in between coats. It gave me a nice matte non-reflective finish like orig. If you spray one spot too much it will go glossy and you'll have to let dry and start misting it again.
