Heard some GTO's where stolen out of peoples HOME GARAGES! around here in the midwest this spring.
Mines not that nice yet, but still worry about it.

on another note, I believe the police are trying to pursue the culprit. I know somebody knows him or his father that forced him to get rid of it. the new dents I'll live with for now until I can repair, but a thief is a thief and you don't know who else the person has effected. where the police had it towed to is just nearby from where it was stolen. i met a mechanic there who also owns a 70 and needs some interior parts like bucket seats. i told him to check out this web site and read through the threads. i mentioned warchief who i have met and purchased a good bit of parts for my 70. again, thanks.

A thought crosses my mind considering how quickly, and how close it was found.

Do you suppose the thieves read this forum to 'look' for cars? And reading the forum they realized the jig was gonna be UP because so many locals were watching for it?
