13 sec OHC-6, How Can I Do That?
After all this talk about how an OHC can run in the 13's after some slight modifications on the 68-69 GTO board (See GTO with OHC?) what are the ways that one can modify an OHC-6 engine to put it in the 13's? I am guessing headers, and a free'er flowing carb, are those teh only things to do?

I've never done it but I would assume you would need a more agressive cam and some steep gears. (4 series)

i have the same problems right now i am trying to figure out how to put my 67 tempest in that 13 sec class as well! i have had some thoughts on adding nitrous to the car what do you think? is it better to run a single carb or muliple? most of the hopped up ohc6's i have seen are running multiple carbs have you heard anything about that? there is a company that i found called primatech they are into ohc6's only and are building them to the hilt!!!

Well I have heard of using a man-a-fre manifold to hook up a tri-power to the OHC, but good luck finiding one of them....I'd say use the 4-bbl and hook up a supercharger to it. A supercharger+more agressive cam+a holley carb= what would be a fast OHC-6
