Default 64-67 frame section needed - rear bumper

My car was hit in the back - bent the bumper up into the tail panel and bent the back of the frame

Bent on the driver's side right after the boxing ends, so in the thin part - looks like the rest is good

I was hoping to find a replacement piece that's in good shape - just cut and weld and replace

I realize mine could maybe be straightened....but rather just replace, i think...shouldn't be hard to do

Anyone have a solid piece? I've found a few locally, but were too pitted to deal with (Ohio area rust)

Hey Baron,

Let me know if you can't find one, I have a Texas frame out back that is rust free from a 64. Problem with mine is that it is broke out around the upper control arm mounting points. So if I had to I could chop off the rear section although I am not too keen on that.
Jeff

sounds like exactly what i'm looking for - your rust free frame would be pretty solid

I looked at one locally i could get cheap
but i could put my hand on it and almost bend it myself - that weak from Ohio rust wearing it down over the years
I'm not too optimistic on finding better from a parts car around here
