Default 1982 grand prix conv.???

Hey guys, I'm not too familiar about these cars and some quick research came up empty handed. My question is, was there any 82 grand prix conv. built?? and with the turbo charged engine???

Thanks

No, and no. The 301 used in the GP had a version in the Firebird line that had a turbo on it.

Hey, nice looking shop! Too bad I didn't find you before
I got screwed by the Newark Delaware body shop.

Are you doing a car for Therman Thomas?

I believe he meant with the turbo 231, ala Regal. But no, you couldn't get one of those in the 81-87 GP either.

And yes I have done some work for Thurman Thomas....He has a nice 69 Ram 3 GTO conv. and some other stuff.

Unfortunally I always hear of someone getting hosed at other shops, I have a 65 GTO that we are going to start that has already been fully restored and is absolutly horrible, it sucks for people put trust into someone and gets screwed. I see and get quite a few cars that have been through these things.

I knew of a 1981 Grand Prix convertible that was bought new in Cal. I last saw the car in Whitehall WI in 1998. I believe the owners last name was Kopp and he was the Police Cheif in Town. It was white with a white top. He bought it from the 1st owner.
