Oil filter adapter ?
Does anybody have a picture of the oil filter adaptor that is used to angle the oil filter in a different direction to clear the exhaust for the Ram Air 3 long branch manifold set up on a 400 motor? I recently installed a pair of long branch exhaust manifolds on my 68 Firebird and I am having a clearance issue with the oil filter and the exhaust manifold hitting on the passenger side. I have the 90 degree vertical oil filter housing on there now. Will the oil filter adapter solve the problem or do I have to go with the remote oil filter adaptor set up? Has anybody tackled this problem before? Thanks in advance.

You need the Ram Air oil filter adaptor that bolts between the oil filter base and block. Performance years sells the adaptor as a kit and it comes with everything you need.
PY part # is RFE96 cost $50. Well worth the price and it will solve your clearance problem.
