Default Anybody from Charleston, WV area

Hi,

Possibly looking at a job in Charleston, WV area which would cause me to relocate. Can anyone tell me what to expect i.e. cost of living, housing, where are the good places to live, and where are the places to stay out of (based on crime rate). How do the people of W.V. take to an outsider? I am not a city person so would like to know about areas outside the city, less crowded, more lot size, well built single family home.

I am from N.E. PA and been here all my life, this would be quite a change for me and my wife, not to mention that we live close to our families, about a 10 mile radius now.

Just looking for some inside help.

Thanks,
Mark
