Fuel line plumbing from regulator
Ok, so I admit, this maybe an obvious one, but I notice from pictures that many here are running 2 lines from the regulator which they mount way over on the PS inner fender and then draping the line over the valve cover to feed both sides of the carb. What is the thinking behind this versus using a fuel "log" type device? Why mount the regulator so far away?
I was planning on using a "log" type device and keeping the regulator tucked away behind the setup. But I am open to better ideas if they are out there for a reason. Thanks. |

Two separate lines from the regulator will move more fuel than one shared line. Shorter lines will have less friction loss. However, one line feeding a log will work just fine if it is big enough, assuming the rest of the fuel system is up to snuff. One half inch lines with a fuel log can support 850 hp.
