Need Schematic for 94 TA cooling fans
Anybody have a schematic of a 94 TA 5.7L that shows the wiring of the cooling fans?
Fans wont come on at all and it overheats. If I pull the plug on the MAP sensor, it stumbles for a second, goes into safe mode and then the fans come on. Just hope its not a computer problem. Temperature gauge works fine. Thanks, Jack.

Early production used 2 relays, late used 3.
Both are for a/c equipped models. Last edited by Andretti; 05-03-2010 at 10:04 PM. |

The guage uses it's own sensor not related to the fan operation. The ECM monitors the "Coolant Temperature Sensor" to control fan speed. If you don't have a scanner to read the CTS you can check the fans circuit/relay operation by opening then jumping the CTS harness at the switch.
The sensor uses two wires, 1 yellow, 1 black. |
