Default Test Fit Pics of Rodlites on Lemans

Hey Guys,

Just wanted to share some pictures of my "new" 72 Lemans with a Weld Rodlite wheel. I had these from a previous build and never had much use for them so I gave it test fit. I think they look better than the 14 inch ralleys, but tell me what your thoughts are. The width is 295 and they don't rub anywhere.

They are 15x10. I'm not sure about the backspacing, 4.5 I think. The didn't get pictures of the fronts but they are 15x7 with 225's.

What are you doing for centercaps??? They are usually the dealbreaker with me on aftermarket rims.

I have the standard weld center caps, just didn't put them on for the test fit. I also have the chrome little caps that fill the extra lug holes.

If you'e already got them I'd run them.

They look good.

I'd run 'em without any centercaps.

I have 295s on my 72 with weld superlites. I like the way they fill out the wheel well. I had to trim the quarter back to the moulding and put air bags in the coils to keep the tire from rubbing when I had people riding in the back seat. I have 245s on 15x8 in the front. You should post a pic with front and back and center caps on. I think they look good. I would run them.

I didn't have to do any modifications but my springs are new and tight. I actually also have the same set in the pro star version that I might use instead and just sell these (or keep them for the next project). I will try to post some more pictures with both sets and the center caps.

I agree, they almost look more aggressive without center caps.

I remember when the Prostars came out, I wanted to get a set for mine but I couldn't spend the money after putting the superlites on it. Mine is blue, looks kind of like lucy but I think they called it mulsane blue with a white top.

I wish I would have gotten lucky with a blue colored Lemans, but instead I found Brasilia Gold. I actually have not seen too many in this color but its a very clean South Carolina car with only 35,000 original miles. Everything is original except for a paint job somewhere along the way.
