Default oscar's radiators - ebay

anybody try one of these for a first gen firebird? Says it's a direct bolt in. Price sounds too good to be true at 179.99. ebay item no is 250414404800. Thanks!

I bought one a week ago. Looks good, but we'll see. Will be installed by end of week. I'll post the results when I'm finished. My car is a '69 GTO, my results may vary.

One good thing. This guy has sold thousands of radiators and the feed back is mostly positive. Plus he has a 7 day return policy.

Good luck..Dan

Bought one of the cheap aluminum radiators for my '71 Firebird. Been using it for about 9 months now and so far it's been working great. The fit was excellent, and it appears to be holding up just fine. Definitely recommend these things.

Order one myself from Oscars, for my 68 gto. Received it and it looks great, will be a week or so till it gets a run on it. But the quality looks just fine. Better than that beat up old copper with all that crap in it. Only issue I will have is my rubber supports are for a 4 core witch is thicker.

I put mine in on Saturday. Bolted right up, only PIA was the lower fitting for the transmission cooling line as a hair off to the right and took some nudging to get it to line up the threads. Cooler temps so far, but need to take it on a long run to know for sure.

I have had one of these rads in my 69 Firebird 350ci, standard transmission all summer. It fit well on installation. It has made no real difference in my operating temps compared to the stock rad I took out.

My GTO with a standard radiator runs a bit cooler than the LeMans with an Alumitech radiator; go figure.
