AM Radio Issues

I have 2 '64 AM radios.

Radio 1: Front/rear/reverb work, low volume and a high pitched whine - very poor to no reception.
Radio 2: Sounds great - rear/reverb work, front speaker not working.

Suggestions on possible causes, a copy of schematics, or a recommendation on repair shop would be greatly appreciated
