Hood Springs 1971 GTO
Why is it that many pictures I see of '71's there is only one hood spring as opposed to two. It's always the one on the drivers side that's missing. Even pix of restored cars sometimes only have the one. Did certain plants equip them differently ?

This topic has been discussed before. I believe we came to the conclusion that the Fremont plant possibly used only one spring. If you do A forum search you should be able to find said topic.

I thought it was more of a '71/72 difference.
