Default Looking for my old 455 ho car

I sold the car maybe 15 years ago. I think the new owner was in North or South Carolina. Warner Bozek or something like that was his name. The car is a yellow 72 455 HO GTO, M22, posi, ram air, unitized, biege cloth bench seat. At that time it had around 50k miles. Anyone know of it's whereabouts? Thanks

Steve - have you the VIN, or possibly an invoice?

Good luck!

Hi Lloyd, I have a copy of the PHS and a copy of the build sheet somewhere, I'll have to dig them out.

That will help, Steve.

If you'd rather not post the info here, send them to me and I'll try to help out.

Steve, that was a killer car for sure! I have pictures of it somewhere. I remember parking next to you at a GTOAA convention in the late 80's or early 90's with a friend's 71 H.O. car. We drooled over your car all weekend. Loved that interior! It was such a nice original. I hope that you have some luck locating her and I hope that she was not abused! I think you may have had Honeycombs on it as well?

Hi Jeff, yes it was a neat car. 88 GTOAA in Wichita and 89 winner circle in Columbus OH if I remember right or something close. It did have honeycombs but originaly came with poverty caps. I can remember being lucky to have the factory order sheet showing the cloth interior when it went through tech for the Wichita show. The tech guys didn't believe the cloth was original and would have put me in a modified class without the factory paperwork. I'm sure it hasn't been abused but just enjoyed. Hopefully I can find it and at least stay in touch with the owner even if it's not for sale.

Steve I remember the car also, it sold new here loacally and I met the original owner a couple times. I have wondered for years what happened to it after you sold it, the car seemed to just vanish. Keep us posted, it would be great to see or even hear of the car again.

Ron Pins was the first owner. I have talked with him many times over the years. He sold it to another guy there in Des Moines who then sold it to me. I can't think of the dealer that sold it to Ron, Summers Pontiac or Sumner Pontiac. I still have a 69 ra4 that came from the same dealer and have owned 2 74 SDs they sold as well. They must have been into performance cars back then.
