Default Help me out here! 1997 Lt1 Trans Am Convertible

I am contemplating the purchase of a 1997 Lt1 Trans Am Convertible (true) ram air, lt1 5.7, auto with 89,000 miles. Has borla exhaust, chrome wheels and mickey thompson street slicks on back with nitto on front. It appears to be in very good shape, and well taken care of. Black with Grey interior.

I've owned a boatload of GTO's but only a couple of firebirds over the years, and no newer ones. It may be time. Thinking this would make a great PowerTour car.

Anyone give me thoughts on value.. I've explored craigs list and ebay... I'm thinking I can get a much better feel for price from you guys who drive & own them.. thanks for your time..

I paid 7200$ fro my 96 T/A T-tops 6 speed 92,000 miles last Noverber. It is in very nice condition not a scratch, like new interior. Can't be worth more than 10,000 $ You should check KBB and get a carfax report That should help you make up your mind.

Default Some Pics

Here are some pics of my beasty My advice is if you get it at a price you are comfortable paying go for it. They are alot of fun to drive. Infinite options for making more power as well. This is my second one had a 99 formula before sold it when my boy was born, couldn't wait to get another. Good Luck !!
