Default Drive your Pontiac to work day!

is coming up...tuesday June 1...

http://www.pontiactributeday.com/

Tuesday, June 1, 2010 was chosen because May 31, 2010 is the last day the dealerships can sell and advertise a Pontiac as a Pontiac dealership. By midnight on the May 31, 2010 Pontiac Motor Division officially ceases to exist.

Sign up and drive your Pontiac.

I will make sure the Pontiac owners know about this at our Sat cruises between now and then.

I may not own a Pontiac 'but my heart belongs to Bunkey' to paraphrase that old song title! LOL

Used to, 4 of em over the years. (Tried my best to get a cherry 55 Star Chief Hard top in Sept 07).

Now I can finally take the Goat to WaWa for coffee in the morning, and then straight back home. That's my job!

BTW.... you can also add your name to the participants list on that site.

I made a practice run this morning.
75mph. 3200 rpm. Greenhouse gases spewing.
Is that what they had in mind?

This is my only car. The only time I will not drive it is when there is ice on the roads.

Rain???

It's not suppose to start raining until after midnight.

I have already driven both of the Pontiac daily drivers and will drive the other tonight.

And there are two local cruise nights celebrating Pontiac:
In Buffalo Grove
Buffalo Grove Culver's
450 McHenry Road, Buffalo Grove
Pontiac Appreciation Night
Sponsored by: Blackdog Car Shows
http://www.blackdogcarshows.com/

In West Chicago
Augustinos
North Ave / Rt.64 @ Rt.59 (in front of Menards)
Hosted by: Double K Productions
http://doublekproductions.com/pdf/augustinos.pdf

I am even going to swing by "Frankly Yours" on Irving and see if they have started their cruise night.
