Default centerlink, pitman & idler arm assembled correctly?

Here's some pics of the centerlink, pitman arm & idler arm. Is the way I've put them together alright? Or do I need to get some sort of press and press them together some more?

thanks,

Hmm seems like a LOT of room.. If you have torqedthe nuts fully then this isnt the way you want it assembled.

I have had to use hardened washers in ball joints in a similar situation.

In general I think you should put hardened flat washers under the components where they slip onto the joints. Enough washers to get the parts (idler arm) to sit down flat against them and to where as you tourque the castle nuts the holes in the nut will line up with the holes in the joints as close to the torque setting as possible. you may have to try a few numbers of washers.

From the pictures, IT looks to be fully seated..
I think, why it looks like you have a space, is due to the fact that the grease/dust boot is missing...

I've never seen a dust boot on the end of an idler arm.

There should be a Felt type dust washer, it about 3/16 thick or so, goes between the arms and the center link.
