Default Need input on a 70 TA.

Going to look at a 1970 ta original car # matching engine has been rebuilt so has trans
comes with a new dash and other parts also. 50,000 original mile but has
been garage kept for several years almost rust free. engine rebuilt due to sitting and timing chain bad ..engine out on stand blue on blue car non air auto they are wanting 12,000.00 would need a repaint and some interior work good price bad price.

without seeing pics its always hard to say for sure, but a numbers matching '70 blue/blue Trans Am that isn't rusted badly and is a complete car sounds like a good deal at $12,000. If it has the original carb, JW wheels and most of the other hard to find parts it just makes it a better deal.

As Rick says,as long as the majority of the IMPORTANT parts are there (and NOT rusty) & it's the right colors & options for you,the asking price seems realistic.

Since engine is on a stand, ask for all paperwork/warranties, as you won't be able to test it right then and now...

yep its all there spare in trunk correct wheels lots of paper work even a photo of the original owner at the dealer picking up the car..will try to get photos up by the weekend after i check it out...

At that price, I'd want to get it pretty quick if it's solid.
