Default 68 Convertible Cocktail Shakers

I'm trying to install some cocktail shakers in the trunk of my 68 and can't seem to get them into position. Anyone have pictures of their trunk with shakers installed? Or maybe some tips on how to get those suckers wedged in place.

What good are they in the trunk? They should be in the passenger compartment, where you have easy access!!!

not sure if this will help or not but here is my 67 truck. Sorry about the CD changer in the way but my sub is on the other side.

The 68's are different from the 67's. Mine have two tabs that point upward. I don't know which side of the trunk lip they attach to. The '67 design looks better than mine.

Thanks Bill -- that's perfect. I'm headed out now to do battle.

Edit: They're in!

Vibration dampeners. They weigh a ton, so they are often removed. They do smooth out the body jiggles on rough pavement.
