Default White Christmas, anyone?

For the first time since 1989, we are going to have snow on Christmas day. So who else will see snow on Saturday?

Still waiting on it here in Bristol Cuz... think we will get all of that? Channel 5 said a couple of inches possible tomorrow in the valley... more in the mountains.

Just when all of this last snow has melted (I mean we dont have a flake here in Bristol TN), its coming again... been one of the snowiest Decembers I can ever remember around here... normally we dont see much snow in December.

I lived in Erie Pa. for 47 years and it was a rarity to NOT have white Christmas. Since I moved in 1999 I lived in Memphis almost 2 years and there were no white Christmas there, and since moving to central Ohio in 2001 I have seen only 2 white Christmas, this being one of them. This year we've had more that usual, kids were off 2 days already a week ago. Of course all they have to do here is mention an accumulating snowfall and they close the schools.

When I was a kid we almost always had school no matter what was on the ground. The school superintendents way of seeing if we had school or not was, if he could walk from his front door to the street we were going to school............Not quite the same for a first grader to walk through the same amount of snow as an adult, but that was the standard at the time........LOL Did I mention that we walked 12 miles to school each way uphill both ways too?.....LMAO

I myself have seen way too much snow in a lifetime, Erie has between 100-200 inches of snow a year and the lowest amount I remember while living there was 80 inches in one year. BAH HUMBUG to snow.

My idea of a white Christmas includes white, sandy beaches. I hate this white stuff falling from the sky. I was always told it's the angels crapping on us.

4 inches here too. Only about a 1 in 5 chance of a white Christmas here normally so this is nice!

Great for the kids..

The front lawn is still green, Steve. But that's expected to change. Looks like you're going to get socked over there, buddy!
Good luck. Have fun! Easy with that delicate back of yours.
