Our snow started friday evening so we got a nice "White Christmas Eve" here in Southeast Missouri.....its still flurrying here and like Blue'Bug mentioned,up to about 4 inches at least!I love a White Christmas...makes the Season more fun and when Your inside looking out of a nice warm house its even better!

When we were growing up we had snow storms on top of snow storms and every pond could be skated on,we would build a fire by the shore and skate past dark...now it never gets cold enough to do that any more!

Snowiest December on record in Minneapolis, we had another 5 or 6 inches at my house yesterday. I just got back from my brother's house, and noticed the highway crews were out clearing snow off the side of the freeway - the snow is piled so high from previous plowings there isn't room for any more.

Snowing here in northeast Tennessee! My family from South Carolina said its snowing there too! (Upstate). Also relatives in Atlanta Georgia said its snowing there pretty good too! I think parts of northern Alabama got like 5 inches of snow! Blizzard possible in the northeast USA tomorrow... talk about traveling nightmares!

The snow banks are almost 6' high at the ends of driveways with about 3 feet in my front yard. By far the most snow we have had since we bought the house in 1994. I am now concerned about the amount of snow on our room, especailly the porch.

Oddly enough, after that big snowstorm (18" or so in Minneapolis) I had very little snow on my roof...there was only an inch or two up there. I guess the way the wind was blowing that day kept the roof clean. On the other hand, the drifts in my driveway were about four feet deep.

Made the calls about an hour ago - we're closed tomorrow!

We ended up with a couple of inches of snow here on Christmas day.... picked up a couple more today (12-26). I measured it and we ended up with 3.8 inches of snow... which is less than many places in north Georgia and north Alabama received... some areas down there got 4-6 inches of snow.

My uncle in Atlanta (northern suburbs) got 2 inches of snow, my cousin in Columbia South Carolina got about an inch of snow and my aunt in Raleigh got 8 inches of snow! A friend vacationing in Myrtle Beach said they got about an inch! I think even Savannah GA reported snow!
