Super clean 1969 Grand Prix roller.
I purchased this super super clean 1969 Grand Prix out of Kansas last year. I emailed the owner of some GP fenders on eBay. When he responded he said the fenders were sold but he had a clean GP out of Washington state for sale. When he told me $850 for the whole car I could not pass it up although I definitely didn't need it. After storing it out at a buddy's place in Lowell for a year I bought a 65 Safari wagon from another buddy that is a runner driver. I would not get to this for a long, long time and I have a 70 GP driver that never sold so I've gotten back to working on that one.
The GP is extremely clean with only a very minor spot that was under the vinyl top. The link will take you to about a dozen photos. It has no motor/trans. The interior is hammered. PS w/cooler, PB. No PW. It has no wheel well moldings and comes with steel rims and whitewall tires that are decent. Rally IIs are not on the car. Lips, rockers, frame, floors, trunk, quarters, etc are awesome. This one needs no panel replacement whatsoever. The doors close like new. Open rear end if memory serves. I bought the car with no bucket seats but believe I have a console for it. I also purchased a set of door panels from Keith Vrabec for it that are black and nice for $200 that can be purchased separately. Also have a couple of nice dash pads available at extra cost if interested. In a nutshell, this GP is a super clean roller worthy of restoration. Including shipping from Kansas to IL, I only have $1450 into it and will only sell it if I get that back. I can continue to store at my buddy's place with no problem as long as we make arrangements first. It comes with a clean title that I have not put in my name yet. I spent $1700 on a few small patch panels on my 70 GP two years ago before finding this GP for $850! I've also collected GP parts for a long time and have literally everything you need to complete this one including the beautifully running 400/TH400 out of my 70 GP that's still in my running and driving car, all trim, interior, etc. Would be happy to make a big, cheap package deal to move it all out. I have a 75 Bonneville daily driver, 70 GP that was my daily driver until I started to do the body on it, a 65 Safari that just arrived from CA, and a 81 Safari wagon that was going to be destroyed for no reason at all. I need to start moving this stuff. We're leaving for a 4 day vacation as of Thursday morning but wanted to get this out there before we left. Drop me a line with any questions and I'll get back to you as soon as we get back. Check out the link for more photos. Thanks! http://public.fotki.com/ponchopio/po...rand-prix-fro/ John Piotrowski |

Have let this one fall down on the list as a local friend was interested but waiting for some finances to be wrapped up. Finances aren't coming together for awhile so I'm just refreshing it before the holidays.

69 GP roller up on eBay
Item #: 300509261011
FYI for Dave up in Canada: Don't worry about the auction Dave. I know you have people in from out of town. I'll cancel the auction if you want the car before bids go up on it. I just had to get something moving with these cars as I'm not working this week. Give me a ring on my cell. John |

Glad to see you sold the GP, that means the Bonneville is staying with you I hope.

What's the story on the '65 Safari? Is that one of the things you were talking about having to move?

You did good for no drivetrain, I think I have the wheel opening chrome from that car.

Yes, I was very happy with the outcome too. Breaking even was my goal. In our part of the country, the cars just don't survive this clean. I paid more than the winning bid just to fix the rust on my 70 GP! If you'd like to send me your email address, I can pass it along to the winning bidder so he can contact you about the wheel opening moldings. Thanks!

Parts is parts.
No, I mean I bought them from the guy (can't remember his handle) that had the car in Kansas. Only needed one, the others are in the polebarn attic for safe keeping. I might have a set of decent driver condition ones if he needs them though, how about a motor and trans???
