great story ! its weird but in a good way to see when a car was brand new in 1965 and then see it now with little fate sitting in a junkyard. Great that you saved it!

Yes that's a neat story for sure!
I have to ask....why is your name Parisienne? That's a Canadian only model that not many besides us Canadians know of so there must be a story there too? |

It's awesome that you've saved that one! Looks like a solid project for sure.
It's also great you've found the orignal owner. Mike

Cool pics and story. How did you buy it and get it there? Did you fly out, drive it to the docks?

65 Bonneville coupe & 65 Parisienne convertible
Yes.. i bought 2002 my first Pontiac.. the very rare 65 Parisienne custom sport convertible in Phoenix, AZ by my own .. spent 2 weeks holidays and rent a car with a good friend and finally found the nice project car in Phoenix ..i bought it from an older lady .... she was living in Phoenix since the 80th .. before she lives in indiana where she bought the car from the first owner .. its an canadian Poncho .. not every one like these canadian Ponchis, because they are not real Pontiacs ..had Chevy Impala frame, drive train and the US Pontiac shell .. very strange but it makes these car especially!
The 65 Bonneville is in real CA car .. 2 pre owners take a look at the both links theres the rest stories: My 65 canadian Pontiac convertible story:http://canadianponcho.activeboard.co...picID=24274712 My 65 Bonneville story:http://canadianponcho.activeboard.co...picID=24277909 Great life with the old Ponchos!!! |
