I see what you are talking about. 1st pic has the shutes and their bags on the floor pan but the pic you posted shows the pan with nothing on it. Could it be a bottom pan to control the airflow under the car?

Ok! to the rear tires, covering the whole bottom.

Ditto: PLAY400 airflow control, less drag.

i give jack a ton of credit for trying where many others have failed. not many people appreciate how big of an accomplishment it will be if he qualifies just once in his life in P/S.

I hope he can keep trying and that this incident does not stop him from achieving his goal. You are right rumair. It is a great accomplishment to run 200+ MPH in a Pro Stock car. But to qualify at a National Event is an incredible achievement!

Glad Jack is okay. Guy can't seem to get a break. Was hoping to see Jack qualify this year after last years failed attempts. Too bad he hasn't got the deep pockets like Kurt Busch who qualified 13th 1st time out at the Gator. Nat. or it would be Pontiac at the top of the heap.

Yeah I believe 5 years. That is why the GTO is now not allowed.

i heard people talking about this last weekend and most seem to think it's 4-5 years. i'd be surprised to see the well-funded teams go away from the G6 bodies until they have to. of course gm will have something to say about this too. i would guess a successor to the cobalt will be out sooner rather than later.

John,

Great to see you here and that you are okay. Very happy to hear the car can be repaired!! Do you plan on making the western swing? If so, we'll stop by in Denver.

Glad to hear car can be repaired Jack. Just take the time to allow your body to be repaired..It's hard (for you) just "taking it easy" but necessary..
Take care...

If I know Jack, he'll have his porta-tree on the front porch and a shifter built into the porch swing, so he can practice cutting lights and hitting all his shift points while he's healing.

Heard the other week, Justin Humphries another MD racer whom Jack bought his car from is quitting Pro Stock. He was switching to Ford, says it is just to much even for for him being a millionaire. Hope Jack can get qualified need to see another MD racer in the mix. (Oh, and a former Pontiac racer as well).
