Default 4-Speed Setup Question?

Purchased a 4speed clutch pedal off a member here for my 66 and cannot get them to line up right. After doing some research, pretty sure the clutch pedal setup is off a 67 GTO. Just want to make sure, a 67 clutch pedal setup is different from a 66? Any help is appreciated....Thanks

I believe they are different. You'll have to get a 66' pedal....

My tech book clearly says they are different....Damn! Now the question, who has a 66 clutch pedal to trade for a 67?

Get the right 66 pedal or it will always be an issue.
The steering columns were different.

I think these are available aftermarket. I have no idea regarding quality or fit however.

PY is the only ones showing this assembly for 64-66.... Pt # RPU27A on Page 45. 67 on up are different.

Ames only shows it for 64-65 and 68-72 on Page 237.

OPG only for 68-72.

I just need the clutch pedal and not the brake. Gonna have to either bite the bullet and buy the set or hopefully find someone selling just the clutch pedal.

Not sure what brake pedal you have, but it also needs to be correct...67
I went thru this a few years ago....get the correct Pontiac parts.

I would stay away from the aftermarket pedal set up. Last March when I did my 4-speed conversion I called and ordered all the required parts from Ames. The women on the phone was kind enough to inform that the repop 67 brake/clutch pedals "were not a quality piece" and she kindly gave me the number for 3 used Pontiac parts places. Luckily for me Frank's had a set. Seemed a bit pricy at the time ($175) and the hole was a bit worn and needed to be welded closed and re-drilled.

However, I thought it was decent of a parts supplier to be honest about their product given they had them in stock no less. I would think someone must have a used set of pedals out there somewhere...

Yea, I got the kits when they first came out from the Parts Place. It was listed for a 67 specific...
I had nothing but issues.
Call Ron, maybe he has a set. I paid for the kit, and then paid for the original parts. I did not save money...LOL
The whole time I was thinking what the f*ck is wrong here...? I thought I did something wrong.
The angles will be off, and the clutch will bind up.

Default No Pedals

No luck with finding pedals for my car. If anybody knows anyone please send them my way.
Question: Will a 67 zbar work with a 66? The one I have has the grease fitting, in 66 they didnt have a grease fitting. Just wondering if this will work or I have to get another one.

Im going to use the 1967 reproduction ZBar on my 66 that I bought, I believe from Bob Vidan back in 2008 at Tiger Run.

Default Z-Bar

So the only difference between a 66 and a 67 Z-bar is the grease fitting? I think having a grease fitting would have an advantage over none at all.

On mine, the grease fitting will rub a little on the headers..
I am not sure of the difference in the 66-67 Z bar's. I know the pedal set up is different.
But it cant be that different...

Is Bethels still around?
