Question INFO ON POWER BUCKET SEAT OPTION

A recent post on the Power Bucket seat got me to thinking, Most everything I see shows the single joystick type sw on the bucket without the escushion.
The Power bench sw on the other hand has it. Some say the early A-Body cars had the escushion, Anyone know for sure?
Also did they offer a 6-way on any of the A-Bodies? or was this a B-Body thing.

I remembered I had a power bucket seat track and went digging.
I do not know what it came out of but it has a 6-way bench seat type setup?

Any info/help greatly appreciated.

Jeff, I'll check mine (12/66 build) tonight as I'm going to post up some pics in the other Power Seat thread. I believe mine has the escutcheon plate, and joystick but not the side switches. I'll check it out tonight.

Thanks.

Everything thing I keep finding is leaning on this being for a 64 Impala bucket.
I have not found any Pontiacs with a 6-Way Bucket, just the Bench.

One good thing, it is working just not sure if I want to go through the trouble that I see in the other post.

Well, I was wrong. No escutcheon, but does have a single joystick.

Exactly like the 66 & 67 options cat's.
Thanks a bunch!

After hunting for info & pic's, I will say you have one rare option there.

In the pictures posted by 2nd67GTO, you don't see the eschutcheon, but it is hidden behind the plastic seat fascia, and provides for the attaching screws

I thought so too, but it has been many years since I've had the seat out of the car and couldn't remember for sure.

I pulled the power bucket base assembly from a '77 Olds Cutlass Supreme at the local U-Pull-It the other day, thinking it might be an easy swap under the driver's seat of my '67. It looks absolutely identical to yours, except that unlike the base in the other thread, all four feet of this one sit squarely on the floorpan. (click these to enlarge)
