What shape is the body in, quarters, roof, frame and floors? Looks like a nice complete project.

Tom-hope you didnt pay more than 5k for that car. Also-what would you estimate the restoration cost on this car at your shop?

500 bucks Greg, boy i guess my "friends" have loose lips...and for the resto - as soon as I find out that someone drives a callaway or any other expensive car its minimal 80k, now if i get the feeling your a douchebag and drive expensive cars, its 100k plus.

just out of curiosity, was this a white or blue car originally? I assume white by the pics.

Looks like a great start for a full resto. Love that Sandalwood Custom interior!

Congrats on a killer score, and for keeping/selling it all together!

Thanks Boss..I wish it was 500 bucks....i would not sell it to anyone who was gonna part it out, to complete for that. Doing what i do for a living you just know better then that. Hopefully the new owner won't, he promised he was not going too. I guess we will see, it would be ashame if he did...

So, ya its SOLD !!

$96k for a restored ra3 70 TA- now that is douche bag expensive. And you think a Callaway is expensive? Gave $10k LESS for it than your $96k restored price-or for a douche bag-$116k. Just messing with you Tom-congrats on the selling of your car.

would this be the same car???

http://buffalo.daype.com/autos/cars-...Ad-185460.html

1970 pontiac firebird trans am, purchased new by me, sold to a friend and recently bought back. It is a numbers match excellent running , 400 ram air , 4spd. car with 56,000 original miles. The exterior is polar white with a saddle interior., tilt wheel, power windows, am/fm stereo tape player, factory ralleys and many more options. It is PHS documented and comes with the original window sticker. The car does need a cosmetic interior and exterior restoration. It was run through some western new york winters and does have some rot. I do have a complete rot free73 formula from Arizona that is needs a restoration that is available for an additional price. It does run and move with a rebuilt 350 and turbo 350 and comes with a lot of new restoration parts. The price on the 70 trans am is $4,500. I do need to sell that first in order to release the 73. Call with any questions. 716-517-1995. NO CALLS AFTER 9 00 pm . Thanks, Jim

amherst it's buffalo classifieds

LOL! NICE SCORE!

And congratulations again on the restraint necessary to keep it together!
