Looks very close to same color as my Tyrol Blue 67.

I forgot to post some pictures of my 69 TA Convertible pro touring custom. Here are a few:

I've wanted a 69 TA vert ever since they came out when I was 16. Took me 40 yrears to get one and I built it myself.

Although I'm a bit of a purist, I gotta say......

That's one hell of a nice ride!

It was a bit of a challenge, but once I figured it out is wasn't too bad. The electrical was the most challenging part. Four computers and all the functions work.

I know, I'm a Pontiac guy through and through, but it was not a #s matching car, so I decided to have some fun with it. It does have an all Pontiac drive train. Engine from an '02 trans am and transmission from an '05 GTO, you just have to stretch your parameters a little, (lol). On a side note, Bill Porter, who was a design engineer for Pontiac in the late 60's and 70's and also helped design the Trans Am saw the car at the Cannon Bird Run in Colorado last year and loved it. He said he wished he had today's technology back then. Old school design with today's stuff. I think the old school stuff is way cooler than today's cookie cutter designs.

Very cool...how is the fast fuel injection working out for you? Better response, gas mileage? Any pictures of the engine setup?

The F.A.S.T is great now that I straighetened out the harness connectors. They had (2) wires cross on the MAP sensor and 15 hours later I figured that out.

Oh no....I would never do this to a real T/A especially a convertible. Those are million dollar cars. This is one of 12,000 convertibles that was built that year. It was verdero green with a 350 2bbl. When I bought the car it was already cloned into a T/A with a 74 350 engine. I just took it to the next level.

I'd say you took it up quite a few levels!
If.....IF....I'm ever stupid enough to buy another car, I'd love to clone a '69 into a T/A.

IF......

I bought the HO in 1985.
We are now working on a 350 model original motor and trans.
