Default Got snow on my Bow Tie!

Got a little snow here in the Mid-Atlantic last night. Followed by some rain. Just enough to make things nasty.
Least the GTO was in the garage.

Anyone else get snow last night?

Way far away from ya we did. Got hit with 8-9" last night here in Illinois. Roads were really bad. Lots of people had a long ride home last night. I can tell you my truck had a little more snow on it than yours

Wink

Temps were 78 and Sunny while Grilling Outside here yesterday.

Telecom talking to relatives in Chi-town while grilling yesterday and they were bracing for major snow storm.
Although summers can be tough here in H-Town, this is the time of year that we love.

We do not miss those winter snow, sleet and hail storms. Enjoy and stay warm!

Might help to have some of that stone, I saw you hauling (in another pic) to get around...

Could have been a lot worse.... it could have been the GTO.

We got about an inch and a half here in New Castle. Just enough to make in nasty on the roads early this morning. Had the Jeep in Part Time 4WD just to keep traction where they didn't plow all that good.

72 degrees here yesterday. Cloud cover today so it may only get up to 70!

5 inches with sleet on top. Had to drive the wife to work and it took me 4 hours to clean up the sidewalk, deck and driveway. It was pretty much too heavy for the single stage snow blower to clean effectively.

Drove the 68GTO for pizza run & kid drop for sleep over last night. Woke up to 3" maybe 4" heavy yet dry, 25Deg. Trick slippery with temp. Got the exercise in with the shovel.

Tomato sandwich, and grilled Mushroom sandwich for lunch chased with a Yuengling Light & good company. Great lunch.

It's not the snow which irritates me, but the freezing rain and ice. Good memory on the stone load. Not going to dig all that quartz from the gardens though. Moved the truck inside next to the other '69 today. Most of the snow melted already. Luckily I re-finished the wood bed last summer.
