I remember that event well and the lynch mob that formed when Flipper said he wasn't going to pay out to some of the winners and runner's up... I was one of the winners in the heads up class. First Flipper said I ran the scales, then he said I was under weight ... then I had a signed time slip from a Grove employee stating that I WAS OVER WEIGHT... then George Case said " You better pay them or I don't think you will make ever make it back to Cali! I said the same thing to him on the starting line during the awards ceremony....Man what a POS he is! Glad someone like Jim Zeek is speaking for the Pontiac clan instead of that DB!!

I always liked the show. I had Beswick sign the trunk of my 62 GP one year. I guess I can't get rid of it now. haha.

I just want to make a pass on the track. Don't care who i'm lined up against and don't intend to be any competition for the heads up guys. Would just like to cruise to the track, pay the man my money, watch some good racing, and make a t&t type pass. Will this be offered, or do we have to enter in a class?
