This is the guy I used. He is in central IL. The carb he built for me works very good. I've used it on a 406 sbc, and used it on my 406 Pontiac last year with only a small main jet change. http://kenjonesperformance.net/

Mark took my power valve out. Always ran one with success so was a little disapointed when it wasnt there. Maybe i should've specified that i wanted it there.

Horsepower innovations if you want a new carb that is set-up specifically for your car...

Yes He's Mr. Secret, and there's no rocket scince in the conversion...but he'll have to kill you after if he tells you!

Simply put you increase the carbs fuel flow by about 30% and there are some items you replace to handle the E-85.

I recomend anyone going to or using this fuel to run your own wideband in your car to varify the proper A/F ratio.

What is a usual or ball park cost to convert? Say a Holley 4779 750. Just curious for a cost. Thanks. MArk L

Patrick from Prosystems did mine. New carb and pressure regulater was @$900 to my door. took the new carb out of the box drained the last remaining gas from tank. poured in the moonshine was running in @1 1/2 hours. carb was perfect right out of the box.

Pro Systems charged me about $400 each when I had my old 850's converted a few years back. I've been running their SV's the past couple years now.
