Default hedder update!!

Dont know if anyone noticed,,,, But,,, Summit now sells just the right side pipe that fits our 4 cyl motors!! Great that you dont have to buy a complete set just to get the right side. This is the Hedman 3 tube hedder,,,$126.99
Here it is at a pretty decent price!! http://www.summitracing.com/parts/HED-28140-RSO/

COOL! How does the 3 tube they sell rate to a 4 tube header power/torque. I have a line on 4 tube d-ports with ceramic coating.

4 tube wont be much better than a 3 tube. main thing is the larger pipe dia. verses the stock log manifold & exhaust. Because of the 4 cyls different firing orded than the V8 motor, the equal length,3 tube or 4 tube hedder is not designed & built for the 4 cyl motors. The best pipe would be a hand built one with a try "Y" design that connects the #'s 1&4 together & the #'s 2&3 together before they join up.

I would not run a 3 tube on anything more than a stock slant 4. A stock 4 bbl slant 4 at that. No reason to run a header on a 1 bbl slant 4, unless you have the header and not the manifold. Just say'n.
