OHC Sprint Exhaust
What do you guys do about these split exhaust systems?
My FB has the original exhaust system still on it down to the hangers and the muffler. I do have a spare manifold that seems to be in a little better shape. The metal surface feels smoother to the touch. If it ever comes off of the car would it be worth it to have it media blasted? Is see newer systems that are coated or stainless so can you coat these things? What would all of this cost? Are there OE "style" mufflers available that look like the originals? Marc

I used to repro the Y pipes.
Didnt sell alot of them so quit making several at one time. I still have the jigs,bending charts,some fixtures,and supplies,but lost the bender. We got good enough at it to make it one piece,split halfway thru and fold over. The plus was I used 14 ga aluminized pipe,which should last forever. Probably some guys on here have them on their cars.NOS is great for a show piece but if youre going to use it at all,go with 14ga aluminized or stainless.
