Default valves

Took a closer look at the head today and it looks like I will be needing replacement valves.

Does anyone have replacement valves for the 1969 4-bbl head that they would like to sell?

or..........

Does anyone know of a supplier that these valves can be purchased from?

Thanks allot for you help! Dave

69 used 2 different valves early 30 deg vs later 45 deg
you can sub others if you do a 3 angle valve job
68 4 bbl is same length and very close to 66-7 1 bbl

When buying valves just don't look at valve stem length, be aware of the keeper location. When someone just sticks a Chevy valve in the OHC engine because the length and diameter is the same, they don't take into account the stem above the retainer. My OHC had one that was off. The valves pictured are all the same length, but you can see the one in the middle has the keeper too high up and the cam follower rubbed on the retainer.

Thanks for the good info guys!

Looks like I need 2 intake valves, 45 degree seat, I measured them at 4.905 length.

And I need 6 exhaust valves, 45 degree seat (I think all Pontiac exhaust v/v's are 45) at 4.893 length.

Does anyone have any spares?

I 'might' but I won't know until I get back home around New Years. My engine used 45* valves and I replaced one so I may not have a full set of exhaust valves and I have to check the seat angle on the intakes I have as I did not look at them closely since I decided not to replace them.

Not sure what egge's has instock and I think Ebay had a few.
