Do to not paying their taxes and a EPA problem , all is left are pleasant memories . I know that PY was a sponsor for many PONTIAC drag and car show events at this track .I know many members raced and showed their cars also . A great track that was fun and close to us . Will be missed by many .

Yes,the first place i raced back in 97,met Paul Spotts that day looking for a lug nut i forgot to put on in a rush to get going. We became friends after that..My cousin lives down the road in Cranberry lake. His kids were my pit crew..They told me its one of the best memories they have from back then.

The dragstrips are dropping like flies. Orlando Speed World in Florida, one of my old haunts, is also closing down. Neighbors have been complaining about the noise, even though the track has been there long before any of the homes. Property has been sold to Wal-Mart for a distribution center.
