Peepin tom caught outside the house.
My daughter is 13 and she lives with her mom an hour and a half away from me. I Got a frantic call from my daughter last night that someone was sitting outside her bedroom window for the past two days watching her. The neighbors seen the guy the other night but thought it was my daughters stepdad. She told me she's been hearing some weird noises but only thought they were racoons or something. She let it go and paid no mind until last night when she went eye to eye with the guy after she opened her curtains. He ran off and jumped a 6 foot fence to get away ,but was wearing all black. It was a black male and he was never caught. My daughter is so scared and I'm thinking of going to get her but I don't want to pull her out of school there. She has been wanting to live with me but I know her mother wouldn't agree on it. I just don't know if I feel its safe enough. Who knows how long this guys been doing this. Just wondering what to do?

I assumed you, your daughter/her mom have notifed the police? Get them involved pronto! It is worthy of a 911 call!

Yes the police were called and fingerprints were actually taken off her glass. I told her mother to get the media involved that way the whole town knows not just her or her neighbor. Maybe that would be something the creep would see and think twice.

the only way to stop them is shoot them
people do this because they think the consequences are minimal. make sure the message is sent that they dont want to mess with you or your family your topic should be "seen" not "caught"

He will come back. Police need to set up a watch for him. A motion detector light will just move him onto somebody else. A dad with a 30.06 on the roof might help stop him

I would get her out of there even in the middle of the school year. Safety and peace of mind would be the reasons. Leaving here there, with that guy knowing where she lives, she is a sitting duck if he decides to go the next step further.

AND she's seen his face. He probably thinks she can identify him.

Since arming a 13 year old (or an ex-wife) is a bad idea, you can still provide some good security against tresspassers with the right dog.
A Rottweiler, German Shepard or any large breed can be a very effective deterrent for the uninvited.

Light up the area where he has access, take away any possible hiding spots. He won't wanna be out in the open and lit up. Take away his safety!!! Trying to catch him unfortunately may prove to be futile.

Remote control acid sprayer would do it.

A few scraps of plywood, 2 x 4's, or OSB with some 16 penny nails sticking up and strategically placed would work wonders.

At 13 if she wans to come and live with you, get her to talk to a judge and express her feelings! In light of what is happening that is all it should take to make the switch.

Trip wires and C4 will do the trick. Or an electric wire hooked up to 220. Either one will change his attitude and/or altitude.

on a serious but unfortunate note, be careful what you set up as a booby trap because of the liberal sue happy country we live in, he would be able to sue you and win. i would recommend a bright light that is motion activated and set an alarm bell to go off when it comes on and a camera so you have evidence to prosecute him.

Sorry to hear about your daughter. I'm sure you, the wife, and stepdad agree- Do what ever is necessary to protect your child. I don't think he'd be dumb enough to come back. But if he does, make him pay!!!
