The Yugo came out with a van several years ago., It was called "Wego."

Coming down to the last week of the contest....stil time to enter. All Yugo operations stopped several years ago........

Here is the single one page flyer that hypes the all new 1990 Yugo Cabrio which I surmise is a fancy word in the Yugo language for convertible. One side gives all the exciting specs such as 0-60 times in 12.4 seconds and the other side shows the actual car.

Thanz....to Mr AMC Guy for his posting for me. I had this cartoon done years ago never used it in the Buick newsletters. Shows of course a Yugo caption would read: Real reason the Yugo has a rear defroster is to keep your hands warm when you gotta push it in the winter.

Still time to enter...I did see a blurb maybe on yahoo news where they have a group of oddball cars the Yugo being one of them. Perhaps from the same collector. Oddball is one thing but the Yugo as most would agree is more of a disaster than an oddball. I think one of the others is the BMW Isetta and another is one of those cars that goes in the water.....either one of these should easliy out distance the Yugo convertible I would think however at Barrett-Jackson all logic goes out the window when they crank up the hype.
Interesting enough at least for me personally is last year they did mention my company specifically when either a GN or GNX went thru the auction. I even got to hear it on live TV. I am sure someone will post the selling price once the Yugo crosses the auction. denniskirban@yahoo.com Remember somebody is going to win! |
