65 and misting. "They" say we won't see the sun for the next week and temps will be above average.

Temps were way below average for at least a couple of weeks, then we got some rain for nearly 3 days and it warmed up to around average highs (50's). Now its starting to clear but then Saturday its going to get colder again. Other than Christmas decorations and cutting up a tree that fell I havnt done jack schit outside since it got cold, at least not car related.

Temps in mid 60's with clear blue skies today. Drying out after two days of about 6 inches of much needed rain.

Estimated more rain this weekend and most of next week - possible 6 more inches. If so – This will bring us out of draught and get back to normal rainfall levels. Bring It!

Current temp at 4:00 PM CST is 36 degrees. Very slight mist currently. Anticipated high tomorrow is mid 40's - which is unusually high for January.

Saturday things start to head back to normal with a forecast high in the mid 20's. Still warm by our standards, but at least the snow doesn't melt too much at that temp.

Unlike some parts of the country - we actually enjoy snow...

Just ~41° here in Southern Australia but that in Celcius. Makes it about 106°F.
Bushfires everywhere. Typical Summer.

Good luck to you guys down under. Got a friend that lives in the Northwest Territories not too far from Darwin. I need to find out how "Rappy" is holding out with the fires.

We are coping.
In some cases it's loonies lighting the fires. They get a kick out of it.
Locally near where I live over the past 3 nights about 6 fires have been lit on purpose. It school/Summer vacation time here so I guess the kids a bored.
They need some serious recalibration which may require an extended stay in a hospital recovering from such recalibration.

About same as you over north of Chicago. No snow, little rain, and warmer than average. And I love it.
