Here are my bird glass codes on my 68 vert buid date 12C: all 4 say safet, solid temepered, flo lite and PPG
All have M20.6 LR date code is 27 117 LF date code is 26-117 RR date code is 27-97 RF date code is 21-??? cant read it. looks scratched off probably from the windowglide felt. The whole emblem is actually inside out?? Dont know how that happenedbird. can you decipher the date codes on the glass? Does the build date "12C" mean 3rd week of December 1967? Thanks |

12 D 400 convert, clear bird glass. Pass side is original door to car. Both are flat bottom. all i can make out on pass side is m208 and its ppg glass. Drivers side is ppg as well m208 and has a 26107 on it. I know the door has been replaced on the drivers side as inside door paint is red and not the flambeaux burg that is everywhere else on the inside of the car. I can't for the life of me find the 5 digit date on the pass side. any suggestions on how to do it??

Your glass date codes are 117 on the fronts (November 1967) and 97 on the RR for September 1967.

21? I did what you said and it is 26117 on the pass side, faint but there. I got an extra window with the car, clear bird glass and it is 26117 as well, flat bottom. wonder if it is the original to the car and when they replaced the door they kept it. 26107 would be oct and not "as correct" as the 26117 nov date that is off the car but matches the pass side which is the orig door?

I bought a parts car about this time last year just for the bird glass. Well, that and everything else I took off it. I'll see what info I still have on it as it went to the crusher when I was done with it. The glass is sitting in a storage unit out of state at the moment.
