We usually have a couple hundred people through the door and around 30 vendors.

Anyone planning on attending the GTO Association of Central Ohio indoor swap on March 17th? Trying to gauge interest since I have some rare parts I was going to take and get a space to sell.

I'm debating on going or not. I want to go, but not sure if I am up to the 3 hour each way drive.
If I go I am looking for 70 GTO front end stuff (mainly, grilles, lights, etc). Maybe clutch linkage and pedals. A 68-70 GTO fiberglass lift off stock style hood would be great. Russ |

We've got 21 pre-registered vendors. That's more pre-registrations than we usually have. Expect 40 vendors. Last year we had a couple hundred people through the door. Sounds like it'll be hopping.

Hey...
call me when it happens and I'll come and GET ya! ;} Got an original '67 Q-Jet and intake you may wanna look at. Also bringing a '69 428 w/ 48 heads...not sure if original to this engine or not. Also a '77 400 long block w/ 6X heads. Everything else will be selling by the pound...as usual! See me for free stuff, too. Not taking anything home if I can help it. See ya there! Ron

Picked up some 69 tail light bezels, a pair of 70 GTO fenders, bucket seats for a 69, a factory 69 competition plus shifter, a 65 decklid emblem and a pontiac muncie tailhousing. Just missed a 67 carb and intake, located a head that I have looking for. Sold several convention t-shirts. Most importantly, talked with alot of good friends...

I had a pretty good buying day too. Found a 64 rear A/C compressor bracket, small little aluminum casting, super hard to find. Bought the mechanism part of a 64 GTO jack. Got a lead on another complete jack. Picked up a nice 64 A/C dash bezel with the controls and cables. And talked to a lot of friends also. A little cool out, but a fun day.

Well...
still trying to convince my wife I didn't go to the "ta-ta" bar...came home with a pocket full of ones and fives! Seriously...sold about half of my residual "junk" and had folks refusing to take stuff for free...felt like a homeless guy with folks handing me dollar bills all day. Somehow...all the good '64 stuff was all scarfed up by the time I made my first round. Maybe I'll go back to '69's again! Like was already said...it was great just to talk to some old friends and getting paid to do it was just a bonus. I'm positive a few folks got killer deals...just weren't enough to go around, I guess. We sold the YH '69 428 w/ 48 heads for $500 and the '77 400 w/6X's for $100! If that's not selling it by the pound...I don't know what is! Anyway...I sure enjoyed myself. Hope everyone else had a similar experience. Take care. Ron
