Dave,

I'm not sure where it was chromed & I don't know of a chrome shop here in CT - there is supposed to be a good auto re-chromer in Holyoke MA, I can probably find the name if you need it.

Chris,
I've tried to find some local chromers but I suppose NIMBY put the clamp on existing shops and prevents new ones here?? Anything within driving distance is better than paying crazy shipping fees both ways. Shoot me the name and I'll look for others in CT, NJ or PA as I travel through those areas fairly frequently.
Thanks,
Dave

I'd bet the emblem in post 16 is on a '71 T-37.

Default Trunk Emblem

I have this one. Part # 7667708. Has 4 mount studs with a single lower bar the PONTIAC rides on. Slightly bent at the P. Chrome is decent driver.

while thats not one of the numbers we've been talking about, the emblem does look correct. any idea what it came off of? I need to check my book for that number to see if it shows up and what application

I don't recall exactly what I took this off, but 69 Lemans is written on the backside in my handwriting. It must have been a 69 Tempest due to the part configuration.

If the 7775303 part on EBAY fit your needs but you missed out on the bid you can buy the same GM part # from "The Parts Place" (PY doesn't carry it) for $69.00.
