Default 64 Star Chief $650 Rust Free NC Car 4 Door

I have a 100% complete 64 Star Chief 4 Door Post that i parked inside my building in early 90's due to excessive blow-by. Car was running/driving cream-puff grandma type car that i used as a driver for a while.
Rode/Drove like a Cadillac with no other issues.

Most parts will interchange with any 64 Full Size.
Quarter panels are same length as Bonneville
Cardboard trunk boards (sides) were still nice last time i looked. (red)

Solid rust free life-long NC car. Never wrecked.
Tan colored body - paint is still presentable and very buff-able.
Gold/Brown interior mostly in VGC
389 , 4bbl , Air Cond , Clock , Seat Belts , Pwr Steer , Pwr Brakes , Automatic on Column , can't think of any other options except the hubcaps .

Clear NC title in my name.

Again this was a running driving car that has been stored indoors on concrete floor.
Was dismissed from service and driven into building.
Not a crusty crap car that was left outside or parked in a yard .

Is currently being used as a shelf and covered with boxes of etc ..

Trying to gauge interest on whether to part it out , or sell whole.
Whichever interest comes first ....
Asking price is not much more than current scrap weight value .

Thanks !

Sound like a driver to me and 4 door cars seem to be more popular than they used to be. Especially as prices of two doors go up!
Post some pics please.

Rob

To be a driver again the engine will need rebuilding.
Or an engine swap.
All else was great.
I put a PCV in each valve cover to draw the blow-by it was getting so bad at the end.
Around town in hot weather it got pretty bad, so it got parked.

Car is encompassed with various items, and covered in boxes of miscellaneous front to rear. Too much ordeal to get car out right now with what i have on my plate, after more consideration. Looks like parting it out will work better.

Can move stuff about and get pics of sections/pieces of car/parts.

If not enough interest in parts by the time i get things re-arranged well enough where car can come out ..... i might reconsider selling it as a whole.

For now , its going to be easier to part it out where it sits.
Sorry for the flip-flop ... i took a better look at what would have to be accomplished to get the car out of the building. More than i can dedicate to the car anytime soon.

If any miracles take place sooner than later ... i will update.

Just a possible option, but I would be interested in the whole car in like 6-12 months. I like 4 doors and hate seeing nice ones get parted when they can be put back on the road. Something to consider, Dave

PM sent.

Still rolling with that scenario .
If another 200-300 in parts can get spoken for - before the time its ready to come out - it will start getting parted out right where its sitting.

No closer now than before about car coming outside .
Thats the best answer i can say for now.

I'm still interested in saving it, if you decide to go that way. I imagine you could make more parting though unless you rebuilt or replaced the engine.

oops sorry about that 8LUG
Will try to get pics tomorrow - PM me your email .

Steering wheel has some cracking in the innermost upper part of the wheel rim.
Buts its all still there - no missing chunks.
They run more horizontal .

Seatbelts are deluxe style with roller retractors.
Goldish-tan-beige color straps.
Should still be very nice - non-abused.

Aftermarket floor mats in brown.
