Hope you are able to post an update. If your surgery was as successful as mine you'll be asking yourself "Why didn't I do this sooner ?"

I doan theenk it will be today, Jim. He's too busy wondering why that morphine drip thing doesn't work every 15 seconds.

Coupla-three days to get the fuzz out of his brain, we'll hear from him.

Bob: getting the anesthesia out of my system was probably the worst part of my recovery. Very lethargic during that time.
Hope all is well.

Nick,
Caught this late and here is hoping and praying all went well. Had double bypass and valve repair 6 years ago. Feel great today and Dr's say all is well. Caught the blocked arteries when I went in for the valve repair.
I found that just gradually waking up is best and not trying to fight it to wake up. Had to have a difibrilator installed a year later. Result of the valve repair.
The best to you for a speedy recovery. I was a week out before I tried to come back here. He may be a few more days.

At age 45 I had a stress test. It came out normal. 6 months later had a heart attack. 98 percent blocked in one 75 in the other, given two stents, 7 years later feeling fine {BUT watching myself, exercising and eating better. I waited 24 hours before going in to the hospital, because I thought it was indegeastion. what saved me was the hour of swimming everyday for a year before {because of my Dad dying at 72 from a heart attack] ALWAYS Always try to get them to give you the dye after a stress test. They did not give it to me because everything seemed "normal". I played college football {Mount Union D3 winningest team of the 90's. But you cant fool genitics. Best of luck in your continued recovery.!
