Roll Call - '73 Ram Air Formulas
Please let me know if you have a '73 Formula with factory ram air, and if so, the drivetrain and color combo. I'd like to find out how many of the 533 cars exist.
My Formula has a 400, auto trans, navaho orange exterior and white custom interior. Thank you.

I know of a 73 Formula Y code 455 with ram air that was sold in western NC earlier this year. The car was numbers match but was apart and needed quite a bit of work, but at least the ram air cleaner was very nice.
The exterior was red. It had a black dash pad, and I believe I was told the seats were white. Mike |

I used to have a '73 Ram Air 400 Automatic. It was a car that was originally sold to Switzerland. It was yellow with a vinyl top, black inside. Sold it to a guy from Austria, who repainted it in orange. Never knew they were that rare!

Thanks Formulabruce,
All the major metal work is done now and it is looking good. Steve's engine guy can save the original block, so the car will be completely numbers matching. I am really looking forward to it. Held for Ransom, Is that air cleaner decal a reproduction? I might need one of those. James |

I have most of one. It is a 400/4 speed car with the Y99 package. Its color is whatever Lucerne blue was called in 73. (I can't remember the name of the color)

1969 Ram Air,
I am hoping the car will be completed in June or July of next year. I will be happy to post some pictures when it is done. For in process photos, I will have to defer to Steve. He is taking some to document his progress. James |

Kind of yellowish, but not the same as '72's #56 yellow. Think Butterscotch pudding maybe. I'll attach a pic & see if it looks fairly accurate.
