Default Quickest Pontiac @ Dragweek 2013
So How far do the rest of the fast Pontiac powered cars get driven.
Went 8.86 with 6 plugs that had been in the engine the whole way, switched out 2 plugs to look at the tune-up.
Fast, home built Turbocharged Pontiac powered cars to the front. LOL

The 517 has been in my car since the end of Aug, I have 10000 Miles on it!!! 5700 miles were just from Drag week! Definitely not the fastest at 10.54@131.8MPH.... but lots of miles!

I sure wouldn't mind giving you a 1000lbs, mine was 4050lbs race weight at Bowling!

Mine was right at 3000 lbs race weight at Norwalk with around 14 gallons of fuel, with the change to a 4L80 and lock up converter its about 75lbs more.

Just incredible..I drive my 11 second car 200 miles roundtrip to the dragstrip and people think I'm crazy...10000 miles in 2 months in a 10 second car has to be some sort of a record!

Still feel bad they gave the fastest Pontiac to a Triumph, as clearly your car was the Fastest Pontiac in a Pontiac. But it is a nice plaque. LOL

Congrats I'm glad it's not a Pontiac in a Mustang!


I think the triumph is pretty cool with the Pontiac in it!

467 10.41 compression, 325 cfm KRE D ports 265/278 @.050 .700 lift roller. 850 proform carb. switched to E85 last year, picked up about a 10th.
2"x3.5" headers, 3.5"x pipe and race pros. 10" continental converter th400 with a gear venders, 3.73 gears, 315 radials.
